About the customer
Barak & Brazos is a Bangalore-based engineering and design services firm, delivering data centre engineering, power distribution, industrial automation, and embedded product design to clients across India and the US.
As the business scaled, prospecting, qualification, and revenue pipeline data lived across disconnected stages, with no single structured path from a cold list to a signed, delivered project. Barak & Brazos engaged Zauber Technologies to design and build a purpose-built Zoho CRM covering the full journey from prospect to project.
The challenge
The BnB CRM was scoped to close process gaps across Barak & Brazos' sales-to-delivery pipeline:
Prospecting, qualification, and opportunity data had no single, structured pipeline from cold list to signed project.
Converting a qualified conversation into an opportunity, and a won deal into a project, relied on manual handoffs at each stage.
Proposal approvals and rejections had no consistent, auditable workflow tied to a specific approver.
A won opportunity had no automatic link into project delivery or billing systems.
The solution
Zauber designed a four-module Zoho CRM covering the full pipeline, built for a clean, low-click path from first contact to project kickoff.
Bulk-imported prospects are checked for duplicates against Leads and Opportunities before qualification.
Qualified leads carry a required next follow-up date before converting to an opportunity.
Opportunities move through estimation, proposal creation, and approval, with BD Head sign-off and mandatory notes on rejection.
A Won opportunity auto-creates a Project Initiation Request, flowing through approval into Zoho Projects and Zoho Books.
The results
This is a specification for the CRM build; the outcomes below reflect what the design is intended to deliver as Barak & Brazos adopts the new pipeline:
Designed for roughly a 14-click journey from prospect to project, replacing a fragmented, multi-step process.
Automatic duplicate checks keep the prospecting database clean as records move through Leads and Opportunities.
BD Head sign-off is built into both proposal approval and project initiation, with mandatory notes on rejection.
A won deal flows straight into Zoho Projects and Zoho Books without manual re-entry.
